Google Analytics

With the July 1st deadline approaching for Google Universal Analytics to stop processing, Bill brought to our attention that our Google Analytics 4 properties are showing that the setup for each is incomplete. We will check into this.

Bill will share his notes from the Google Analytics 4 training.

Background video

Per user feedback, Bill inquired about the consideration for having background videos paused by default. For animations and background videos alike, the typical approach is for these features to be disable per user. We will evaluate when keeping a video paused may be beneficial.

Upcoming projects

  • As discussed in a previous meeting, Tara and Jessica are working on content and media updates for the main WVU Health pages. We will evaluate the in-progress ability to use editable blocks to manage these pages for Jessica to begin using at the end of this week.
  • Tyler is working on a video to accompany a story about aromatherpy.
  • Shawn mentioned that we will not be working on any new projects until sometime in July.
  • Tara will be out of the office for a few weeks starting Friday, June 23. We will continue meeting weekly as usual.

West Virginia Parkinson’s Disease Registry

As discussed in a past meeting, we can add a simple page or themed website for the West Virginia Parkinson’s Disease Registry information. To have anything more before their end of July deadline, this group will need to reach out to a third party.

School of Medicine

Tara inquired about a possible accreditation issue with a logo needing to be displayed with tuition figures under the Occupational Therapy page. Shawn mentioned that Azalea has reached out several times regarding similar issues since the tuition figures were updated. As discussed in a past meeting, we will create a template in the School of Medicine website to present additional information with tuition figures in each program and Shawn has informed Azalea to create subpages with the proper information in the meantime.
