Student Health

The content on the Student Health website will be updated on Friday to highlight current health concerns. With the current increase in cases of various diseases, the Mpox page was replaced by a page with information about infectious diseases.

During the fall break and at the end of the semester, the content throughout the Student Health website will be updated to promote staying healthy while traveling and mental health.

STEPS

As discussed in a previous meeting, HSC Marketing is meeting with the various entities under Health Sciences to discuss any promotional needs for the fall semester.

This group recently met with the STEPS group to discuss their upcoming events, including Healthcare Simulation Week (September 18-22, 2023), and to understand the pain points around internal audiences finding resources and making it easier to find resources on the website. Rather than planning a full restructure or redesign, Tara prefers for HSC Marketing to work with this group to restructure content in the website's current state.

WVU Health

HSC Marketing is continuing to work on updates for the main pages of the WVU Health website, starting with the Education page.

Also, as discussed in a previous meeting, this group is working on the Fast Facts material and this information will be used on the WVU Health website to better tie together Health Sciences, its entities, and the schools.

Content Audits

As the HSC Marketing group continues to audit the various Health Sciences affiliated websites, the Global Engagement Office in particular reached out about making a few minor content updates to their website. The content in this website hasn't been update since before the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020). Jess prefers to work with this group to understand their updated purpose and goals to better accommodate their content.

School of Public Health

Tara is actively attending interviews for the Director of Marketing & Communications position for the School of Public Health. In the interim, Bill is available to make any updates to the website.
