Notes

The goal of this weekly check-in meeting is for everyone to better aware of upcoming projects and to outline larger projects within the School of Medicine and to continually follow the school's yearly strategic plan.

We may extend the meeting time next week to dedicate more time to revisiting pending projects.

School leadership

As discussed in a previous meeting, the proposed concept for listing school leadership has been set up in Umbraco and with an attempt to only display each person's position and department relevant to their profile being listed at this level in the website. Unfortunately, this exposes inconsistencies in the information being added in Directory including inconsistent naming of identical positions, several positions being combined into a single position, and leadership positions being omitted for some people.

Upon adding the appropriate people to the predetermined groups on the page, Cassie realized that these groups need to be renamed and possibly split into additional groups.

That said, we will rebuild this page in Umbraco to make adding groups and people similar to the way that committee members are added in Umbraco. Cassie will be able to add the desired groups and each person will be added individually with their Directory ID. In an effort to improve consistency, we will include an optional field to override each person's position and department.

Campaigns

Shawn mentioned that we will be working on a new set of campaign templates, each with its own goal and to be shared between all of the schools, to make building promotional pages easier.
