March 28, 2023 Meeting

Notes

Well-being

Google Analytics shows that the Well-being page is the sixth most viewed page over the last 7 days.

We previewed the wellness links card and the updated site specific sub-footer component that will be added to each school website in the coming weeks. We agreed to change the Paths to Success link to Paths to Well-being. The wellness links card will potentially be provided to add to every University website.

Tyler is working on providing social media graphics and content, along with UTM codes, for promoting well-being.

Clinics

We reviewed the updated Clinics page. We will add the Carruth Center link under For Students and move Travel Medicine under For Everyone. The Clinics page will be renamed to Health Services and the URL will remain the same.

Also, each clinic now has fields for displaying operating hours and phone hours.

Student Health

Jessica will provide the video about providers and services to display on the Student Health website. She is meeting with this group this afternoon to discuss more updates coming this summer.

Blue Sky

We reviewed the Blue Sky template. It was suggested to add the line art of the pylons in the background of each card to make these a little more aesthetically pleasing. Bill will populate this page in Umbraco ahead of sharing this page with leadership.

Tyler will provide a video montage to use in the background of the hero and create a Smugmug gallery for Blue Sky photos.

School of Pharmacy

We will work with Christa to move the Viewbook link from the list of programs on the School of Pharmacy Students page to either in the feature or in its own area on the page.

Directory

The process for adding profiles for new hires in Directory is completely automated and there has recently been an issue with Active Directory (AD) feeding a blank email address during this process which causes the profile to not be completed in Directory.

Anyone who is having issues with Directory should reach out to CMS Desk for support.

In addition to the automation error, departments (and editors) are not claiming new profiles to complete the process for approving and displaying each profile. Bill should be able to approve the profiles himself and should reach out to Shawn if he's not able to.

STEPS

As previously discussed, the STEPS website will move into the WVU Health family of websites. Bill is currently working through the updated structure for this website.

Newsroom

We will potentially preview the Newsroom application in the coming weeks.
