March 1, 2023 Meeting

Notes

Well-being

We received positive feedback from Gordon Gee about the Well-being website.

Tara's group has a marketing plan in place to push the Well-being page and resources in the coming weeks, particularly when the students return from spring break.

In the meantime, we will create the sub-footer pattern with wellness related links to display above the main footer on each school's website to review in our meeting next Tuesday. A plain code version of this component will be provided for other colleges to use on their websites. We will also gauge whether to add the Well-being item to the main navigation in the WVU Health website.

We will continue to refine the filters for the Paths to Well-being including filters pertaining to the upcoming campus carry decision.

Blue Sky

As discussed in our last meeting, we will add the copy that Bill provided to callout the Operation Blue Sky information on the Who We Are page until we have a chance to update the entire page.

Interprofessional Education

Jess is working with the Interprofessional Education to gather related events to add to the WVU Events module. Many of these events are open to the general public.

As Jess is reworking the content for the IPE website, we will consider moving this content into a WVU Health related template while also condensing and consolidating the information. This is not a priority until Fall 2023.

We agree that having fewer high quality profiles is more impactful than a large quantity of profiles and that users aren't exhausted of reusing the same profiles as content creators are.

Jess mentioned that roughly 1,500 students participate in this event.

With IPE remaining the main focus, we will highlight the partnership with the STEPS facility these events. We will consider highlighting student experiences pertaining to this occasion. We will use media and photos from STEPS to promote this.
