STEPS template

Bill inquired about the status of creating a new space for the STEPS website. As previously discussed, the STEPS website will move intothe WVU Health family of websites. Bill is currently working through the updated structure for this website. Shawn mentioned that this space will be ready in a few weeks.

Blue Sky page

We're currently working on adding the gallery of images to the Blue Sky page. We will look into whether the Smugmug API can be used to pull images from an album in the WVU Health Smugmug. Tyler has already created a curated "Blue Sky Favorites" album of images in Smugmug.

This gallery will replace the currently embedded video and a link to this video will be added in the hero area instead.

"Blue Sky" will be renamed to "Operation Blue Sky" and any branding on the website will need to be updated.

Commencement

Tyler will be sharing and promoting the Health Sciences Commencement website on social media.

We clarified that every school will be providing at least one profile.

Clays page

Access to Clay's Twitter account is currently locked. Clay prefers to use LinkedIn instead of Twitter moving forward so we will add a link to "Connect with Clay on LinkedIn" to his main page.

Student Health

We will add a link to the Student Health homepage for information about using the WVU Medicine mobile app.

Google Analytics

The Google Universal Analytics will stop processing data on July 1, 2023. All event tracking will need to be updated to use Google Analytics 4 by then.

We are still working on the new sub-footer and wellness resources components.

We discussed potentially asking students what they wish they knew or didn’t anticipate in their freshman year at WVU to help decide which items to highlight at the top of the Paths to Well-being page.

Tara mentioned that many underrepresented students are not connecting as advertised.
