November 3, 2022 Meeting

Notes

Lab pages

Shawn and Dan will add the updated research pages under each program that Azalea requested to have labs for. The research page will include a space for an optional hero photo and main content which will be a limited rich text editor. Only lab group pages can be created under this updated research page.

The lab group pages include an optional photo which renders either a single un-cropped image or an un-cropped image with a caption, a description which is a limited rich text editor, and an area to choose labs.

Lastly, the primary list of labs will be renamed to "Labs".

Department of Cardiology

As discussed in last month's meeting, a new Department of Cardiology is being added. We will create a shell department page for this.

Respiratory Therapy

We will add a page for the new Respiratory Therapy program under the Departments and Programs area.

Hub

Cassie inquired about the status of having access to add information to Hub.

MD Program

Cassie mentioned that restructuring the MD Program area of the website is the next priority for her group. There's the potential to need a page dedicated to alumni and philanthropy with the ability to display videos.

Analytics

While reviewing the monthly analytics for October 2022, we noticed that most of the top news stories are for internal audiences. Can or should internal news be in Hub and filtered out the general School of Medicine news?

Cassie also inquired about finding additional figures for average age and for filtering out internal traffic.

CME Conference

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is having a CME conference on January 21st that they're hoping to use the events module for. The events module is not built yet to handle the extra information that usually comes with a conference. Sam will provide information as he gets it.
