About and Faculty & Staff
Cassie is cleaning up the About and Faculty & Staff sections and removing old information.
Cassie and Zane now have access to migrate faculty and staff related information to the School of Medicine section of Hub. Information in the website about Clay can be removed and replaced with a link to the Chancellor website.
Per Cassie's request, we will add the ability to add a background video behind the feature area on the About page. Cassie is hoping to restructure the hierarchy of this page to be "who we are", "what we do, where we're going".
Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences has requested to use the Basic Alumni Directory Listing page type.
CME Conference
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is having a CME conference on January 21st and Sam needs access to the School of Medicine events module to add information for this event.
Eastern Campus
If the school continues to maintain information for the Eastern campus then Cassie wants to move Rural Family Medicine residency information under this campus.
Brand refresh
University Relations released updated website brand patterns and we will be adding a new pattern to feature areas that places the text for the feature within a box rather than overlaying the photo. This box can be aligned to better accommodate a specific photo.
Shawn mentioned that he is advocating for making more calculated decisions about content on the websites. The idea is to create less content and higher quality content. Home pages can be restructured to include a profile, social media, news, events, and links to prominent resources.
