Eastern
Sam and Cassie inquired about adding a variation of the affiliate bar to the Eastern campus page with two hospitals represented, Berkeley Medical Center and Jefferson Medical Center. We will add a full-width version of this component with the WVU Medicine logo and two buttons.
When Sam is ready to publish the updated residency and fellowship pages under the Eastern campus, we will set up redirects for the previous URLs that will expire on July 1, 2023.
We discussed removing the ability to change the campus location in Hub and adding a page for campus specific resources under each appropriate school. An Eastern Campus page will be added under the Medicine page in Hub.
Campuses
Cassie inquired about adding a map graphic representing the 3 campus locations. We will add a rendition of the School of Nursing Campuses page with information about each campus and link to each.
Clinic events
We will add a new events area for Clinic Events and Cassie and Zane will have access to manage events under this new area once they are trained on how to use the events module to promote marketable events.
Zane shared the Summer Speech Camp event information to be added under this new area, potentially with logo graphics.
With the addition of this new events area, we will potentially add a list of events to the Clinics page.
Homepage
We briefly discussed the upcoming homepage updates and how Cassie and Zane intend to use news stories as a "soft sell" for recruitment. This includes information about White Coat, Match Day, Commencement, etc.
Newsroom
Shawn mentioned that we will preview the upcoming Newsroom application soon and that we anticipate setting up a test period this summer for authors to use the application to create actual posts and to provide feedback.
Each post will include an exclusive media kit and various information from Directory.
Zane inquired about adding additional crop sizes for images through, specifically for 4:3 images.
Tuition
The new tuition page will be made live in the next few days which will replace all existing tuition throughout the website. Dixie Paletta will be the contact for any concerns with this.
Wellness subfooter
The wellness subfooter will be added to each school website in the coming weeks which will include links to University wellness resources and potentially to school-specific wellness resources.
