We reviewed the proposed program template mock-ups with Evie Brantmayer.
Listing Programs
For the pages that list programs, I changed the "Outreach" item under Resources to "High School Virtual Lessons" to reflect what is there now. Evie brought up that the link to a more robust visit page should have a more prominent presence on these pages. I think someone suggested adding something below the Resources as a callout for this. The items under Resources and the information in the blue area will potentially change for each audience depending on what information you all and Evie want to put here.
Also, we need to figure out how to set Evie's graduate programs apart from the rest of the graduate programs in the school. From what I can tell, the remaining graduate programs seem to be more research focused and, with the exception of Exercise Physiology, these seem to be managed by other groups like ResOff and WVCTSI.
Evie also asked about retaining the "Leave a message" chat at the bottom of the website. This will be added to these 3 new pages and this won't change at all from the way it currently looks or functions.
Programs
I removed the Students link in the In This Section list in the Exercise Physiology mock-up and I added the 3 majors instead along with Aquatic Therapy which is listed on the current Students page. Do we still need the Our Majors card with the majors listed in the blue section? We also talked about adding an optional area in the top portion of these program pages for an announcement.
Majors
We briefly showed Evie the samples of more structured information for each major under a program. She seemed to agree with the structure and flow of this and didn't have much to say about them. I think this level of information will probably get hashed out as we all work through each program.
