Organizations

We reviewed the initial concept for the updated MD Organization template. Cassie and Zane will review this template with Dr. Ferrari for his feedback.

Videos

As Hannah continues to create videos for many departments, the departments need a way to highlight a video on each of their front pages. The Section of Nephrology and the Department of Pediatrics have actively requested this. We agreed to explore an updated layout for department pages with a place to display a video.

Tuition

Shawn mentioned that we made the necessary adjustments provided by University Relations to tuition information, and that we will be making the tuition information "live" in the next few weeks.

MD Program Event Galleries

Cassie was able to majorly condense the information in the event galleries section into a single page by better organizing the corresponding albums on SmugMug and only linking to these albums from the Event Galleries page.

Athletic Training

As the Athletic Training program will soon be offered under the School of Medicine instead of CPASS, we agreed that it would be best for Evie to work with CPASS to add a message to the Athletic Training page on the CPASS website notifying users of the transition and to link to the Athletic Training page in the School of Medicine website.

Updates

On January 17th, Cassie suggested adding the blue affiliate bar with the WVU Medicine Children's logo to the sub pages of the Department of Pediatrics. The logo is currently being used here: https://medicine.hsc.wvu.edu/pediatrics/residents/pediatric-residency-program/
On January 29th, Cassie requested a development environment for the Department of Neuroscience to work on reorganizing the content in this website. She proposed adding a "Find a Lab" area on the front page with an autocomplete search bar and changing the "Get Started" area to "Research Emphasis" all while including a quick way to find the academic information.
On January 29th, Cassie mentioned that it might be beneficial to add an area to the Department of Orthopaedics front page that lists the Sections of Orthopaedics pages, similar to on the Department of Medicine front page.
