Undergraduate and Professional Programs Template Updates

Listing Programs

On the Undergraduate Programs, Graduate Programs, and Professional Programs mock-ups, Cassie suggested removing the Who We Are profile area and to display profiles at the appropriate major-levels. The messaging for in-person campus tours and virtual tours will fall directly after the list of programs and after this, we will add an area with a video to focus more on culture (diversity) instead of "who we are", and we will use the "THIS IS WVU" video as a placeholder.

We also talked about potentially featuring STEPS and patient simulation as a selling point either at this level or at the appropriate major-level.

Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics

For the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics mock-up, Zane requested that we use the content from the Medical Laboratory Science campaign. Cassie and Zane will rework the copy to better fit this layout.

Division of Exercise Physiology

Similar to in the high-level program listing mock-ups, in the Division of Exercise Physiology mock-up, Cassie and Zane suggested removing the Who We Are profile area and to display profiles at the appropriate major-levels. Cassie suggested adding an "announcement" call-out area instead to provide an area for Evie to display a seasonal message (Ex: virtual open house). Cassie and Zane will review the copy provided by Evie for the Exercise Physiology campaign to set the direction for the Exercise Physiology template and hopefully for the other division-level templates.

Department-Level Fellowship Mock-up

We agreed that the updated fellowship template should follow the same layout and structure as the updated residency template. Fellowships will not have video clips and we don't have a high-level central area for fellowship information. With that, one idea is to let departments choose a few of the topics from under the highlighted culture topics (Fall in Love and Picture Yourself) from the residency section to display in two columns at the bottom of a fellowship page.

Also, Haleigh mentioned that the groups in the Department of Medicine are happy with the updated residency template and noted that they really like the "In This Section" navigation on the side.
