What We Discussed
- Student Clinic - Sunshine asked in a past e-mail if we could make it so she can list procedures. Since it only has one Service (General Dentistry), we made it so it wouldn't list Services. Urgent Care is almost identical, it does not have a service tied to it. We manually made an area for Sunshine to add Procedures. We agreed to do the same for Student Clinic.
- Urgent Care - We agreed to make it so the Procedures Sunshine added for Urgent Care show up on the Services Page in the Urgent Care card.
- Provider Cards - Sunshine asked if it would be possible to label Providers as Resident or Faculty. We told her this would be possible to do, but she would have to manually add which label for every provider as this information is not in Directory. We agreed to look into this after launch.
- Launch - Sunshine asked what kind of timeline we could give her as an estimate for launching. Shawn said that if it's finished on Friday, we could shoot for a Wednesday launch. So, as long as nothing comes up that needs changed, essentially three days.
- Patient Glossary - Sunshine made a great glossary. We made some small formatting adjustments, but otherwise told her it was great. We also agreed to add a link to this under the Procedures list on each Service Page, as well as a link under the blurb on the Services page. Lastly, we'll add it to a box somewhere on the Patient Resources page.
- Centralized Payment - Shawn said he's heard whispers about WVU Dental using some sort of online centralized payment system. We are going to look into it and make sure there's nothing we need to change before launch (if this is actually even happening).
What We Need From You
- Patient Glossary - Go through and reformat the definitions like the first one (which we changed format and left as an example in the meeting).
- Copyright Message - I know you contacted someone about this. Whenever you have this, throw it in the site.
- Overall Content Comb - Once you're finished with content changes, I strongly recommend going to the actual Home Page (not in the Umbraco side, the live site) and slowly reading through the whole website, page-by-page. Seeing it all together in one place sometimes makes it clear when content needs adjusted or is missing something. Stopping between pages and doing something else briefly (related or unrelated) helps me to unglaze my eyes when doing this.
- Launch - Let us know when you're ready to hand it off. We will start looking over the content to work with you on any changes. We will also create a timeline so you have some idea of what's gonna happen between then and launch.
