We met in Dan's meeting room as Shawn was out.

What We Discussed

• Commencement - Sunshine mentioned that it wouldn't be shared with her which awards/etc. students are getting. Once they are, she will add them to their profiles. She mentioned how that the students do get excited to see themselves and thanked us for doing this.
• Women in Dentistry - Sunshine mentioned that we'd discussed this in our past few meetings, but it would definitely be held off at this point, until at least after Commencement.
• Intranet - Sunshine was wondering if it was actually "going away" so she could start pushing harder for people to get their stuff off of it. She mentioned manuals potentially being in SOLE. Apparently some of the people think it would be best on SOLE (behind a secure login). Rachel also mentioned Hub for things that are internal but don't need to be "secured". Sunshine mentioned that she was considering both for different content. Dan also mentioned there could potentially be links on Hub that point to things within SOLE. They'd still be behind a login, but would be accessible to reach.
• Marketing Assistant - Sunshine mentioned that she wrote a job description for a Marketing Assistant. She's hopeful that she will get one, and if so, would like to jump into Analytics with them.
• Analytics - Bill explained that we will be transitioning to the new Google Analytics 4, and is expecting we'll be working on that through the upcoming year. Because of this, he will have to recreate dashboards and things like that, and would like to create a new report. This report would be sent out on to Communicators each month, and he is hoping it'll be done June, July at the latest.
• Calendar - Sunshine said that Tara is working on a sort of how-to for the new Calendar as UR didn't provide anything. She mentioned that she doesn't mind the new calendar, it's just learning how to use it to the fullest. Dan explained that we hope to work with the communicators closely on using Calendar and the new Events - when to use one or the other, etc. Sunshine said the new interim Academics Affair person and their new assistant aren't huge fans of Calendar, but Sunshine believes that's just because they don't realize what all it can do. She wants to show them all the possibilities. Apparently they don't feel it looks like a calendar. Dan explained that the view could potentially be changed by UR, but it would change for everyone who uses it. Sunshine said she recently had some correspondence with Jay, who offered to teach her and the new Academic Affairs assistant about the new calendar. She also mentioned that this transition with new people (in Academic Affairs) would be a good chance to reframe how the calendar is used, like getting rid of the "internal" calendar.
• Centralized Tuition - Sunshine mentioned their (Dentistry's) person, Wendy, has had no issues thus far with tuition and doesn't expect there will be any upcoming.
