WVU Dental
- Combining Fees and Insurance Information Pages
- We discussed the combination of these pages in the past, and today agreed to move forward with it. Putting all of that information in one central place is potentially saving users from having to navigate two different places for similar information. It also removes the confusion of not knowing which to go to for what they need. We let Sunshine know that whenever she is ready, she can combine the content of the two pages and let us know when it's done. Sunshine also confirmed that the front-desk registration staff are on board for us to combine the two pages as well.
- Once Sunshine is finished, She will let us know and we will adjust any hard-coded areas of the site that referenced them separately. We will also make it so the Patient Resources page links that reference them separately now point to different anchors on the new singular page.
- Move Forms and Policy Pages - I mentioned that I'd noticed there are some policies at the root level (Patient Resources), rather than under the Forms and Policies page. Sunshine said she could move them under there.
SOD
- Tuition - We introduced Sunshine to the new Tuition page. We explained our reasoning for how and why we made it the way we did. In short, we explained that prices being combined is non-negotiable, how it all breaks down, and that we will be doing the updates. Through our new relationship with Eric, we've gotten direct data for these areas, across all of our schools. Rather than ask you to go and find a person (if there even IS a person!) to get tuition data, it's better all around for us to utilize this direct connection and maintain it ourselves. We're thinking this will be launched here in the next few weeks, as we work around holiday craziness. Sunshine asked if she could share this with the SOD admissions person, and the Dental Hygiene person as they handle their own finances separately. We were fine with that.
- Day of Giving - Dave mentioned that SOD made ~$150k, which is awesome! We also talked about how some of that money may be going to the clinic area redo. We checked out the indoor map and looked at new schematics of what to expect for that area and think it'll be great for them. Very exciting!
- Alumni - Sunshine briefly touched on the Alumni page and it's future as she was unintentionally in contact with the Alumni President. We're all hoping to be able to revisit it in the future and build it out to something more engaging than a content page.
- Sunshine and Dave Meet n Greet™ - Sunshine and Dave are going to try and meet up to discuss a bunch of content stuff!
