West Virginia Parkinson's Registry
Jess shared the Word document with the working copy for the WV Parkinson's Registry website, much of it from The Michael J. Fox Foundation website. Shawn suggested using some of the copy from both the About and Work pages onto the homepage to add engagement points with call to action links.
We want to be able to deliver a draft of this website for review by October 30th with the intention of making this website live in mid-November. Depending on the feedback, our turn-around is usually pretty quick.
Matt will build this as a separately branded website and use the basic layouts and components from the WVU Health design system. Jess will share the WV Parkinson's Registry wordmarks that Aira created.
The ability to search and filter may eventually be added as this website evolves.
Spotlight
Jess created the Discover WVU spotlight.
Shawn is reviewing the concept for displaying the contents of a spotlight on the WVU Heath homepage. Right now, this is another cover variation which can be selected from the Home page in Umbraco and updated at any time.
We will make sure that the call to action for the spotlight on the homepage links to the chosen spotlight page.
Umbraco
Shawn mentioned that we will need to move all of the websites from the current Umbraco server that ITS manages and become mostly self sufficient in managing our content management system.
We are currently testing Umbraco Cloud CMS and we may look at other CMS's. If we do choose to stick with Umbraco, we will purchase the Starter tier for $45 per month.
