March 29, 2022 Meeting

Notes

Diversity website

While most of the events related to diversity are actually for internal audiences, these should still be added to the Events section of the website so that everyone can see that diversity is a priority.

Addiction website

Shawn let Jess and Bill know that everything is working on the development side for the upcoming addiction website and that the website can be launched at their discretion.

Tyler will promote the launch on social media and on the infostations. Matt will share the artistic elements from the website with Tyler to create this content.

We will also think about how this website will be permanently promoted in the Health website.

Bill is working with Brian Persinger to capture photography and he will provide the content for the Outreach and the Experts pages. We agreed that a "News and Events" page should be added to this website. There will be a few related events throughout each year.

Doctor's Day

Doctor's Day is tomorrow, March 30, 2022, and Cassie's group is updating the Doctor's Day page in the School of Medicine website. Tyler will be promoting Doctor's Day on social media.

Research projects and grants

Regarding the working template for presenting information about research grants in the Health website, Bill will reach out to Nicole Beason about whether there is an amount threshold that makes a grant notable and for feedback about this overall.

Stacey Elza should hopefully be able to let us know about new research happening at Health Sciences and help us write the descriptions for the highlighted projects.

This upcoming section is built in Umbraco. We will decide how these projects can be highlighted on the Research page and in other websites including school websites and the Coronavirus website.

Center for Health Ethics and Law

The Center for Health Ethics and Law website content should be moved into the WVU Health Umbraco. This website seems to be updated every two years. If this group needs to keep the "wvethics.org" domain, then this content should be moved into an HSC THemes V2 template, otherwise this content should be moved into a new section under Hub.

Coronavirus website

We need to think about what the future of the Coronavirus website will be.
