Grants
We reviewed the 4 animation background pattern options to display behind a grant page including "blobs", "hexagons", "neurons", and "points". We agreed that a pattern option should be chosen per grant.
Shawn suggested adding an animated WVU brand "slash" pattern as a default option.
Strategic Compass
Zane requested that the Mission and Vision messages be moved from the sidebar and into the main content on the Strategic Compass page. Bill will relay our idea to add a brief subtext with each message to add a bit more substance or weight to each.
Diversity Week
Jess will begin gathering profiles to display on the Diversity Week page for Diversity Week 2022. There will be events and this information is often provided in the week before or the week of Diversity Week.
Jess Mentioned that Courtney Lanham will be starting on Monday, July 18th as the director of diversity, equity and inclusion for Health Sciences and we're hoping that more attention can be given to the Health Sciences Diversity pages. Shawn suggested inviting Courtney to our "Monthly Website Updates" meeting on August 3rd.
WVU Health website
We agreed that that the photos throughout the 5 main pages of the WVU Health website can be updated incrementally while we wait for scheduled photo shoots to capture several staged photos. Jess can send us her current photo options.
