University mask mandate
The University will be announcing that the mask mandate will be extended through the end of February.
Dental Corp COVID-19
The Dental Corp group will be requiring employees to be vaccinated.
Health and wellness
Clay wants to build a small health and wellness portal website as part of the Health website to promote his overall goals for health and wellness for WVU and the State.
Bill, Tara, and Jess will be meeting with Amy Sidwell to discuss removing the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and changing Amy's role to become a health and wellness liaison and not creating committees.
This new portal will be similar to the Diversity website in that it will point out to other resources rather than being the resource itself. It should also share the firm structure and clean aesthetics of the Diversity website.
This website is a higher priority than the addiction website for Clay.
WVU Calendar
The University's contract with the current provider for the WVU calendar, Dude Solutions, is set to expire on Monday, January 31st, and the University is switching to a new provider, Localist, on Wednesday, January 26th. The web group is working with University Relations to transfer the calendar feeds in the Health websites to use the Localist feed.
There may be a day or two that the calendar feeds are broken while the feed is being updated.
Health Sciences & Technology Academy
Shawn is currently moving the Health Sciences & Technology Academy website into the WVU Health Umbraco. Mary Cottrell will be given access to the Health Sciences & Technology Academy and Health Careers Opportunity Program websites in this Umbraco.
Addiction website
We briefly reviewed the mockups for the upcoming addiction website. Bill will review these mockups and share his feedback.
Editor access
Wendy already has access to the School of Nursing Umbraco. Jess will need access to all of the SOLE News categories.
News
The Newsroom application is still currently being worked on.
Tara noticed that Christa and Nikky might still be using the email template in SOLE to share news stories and that they should be made aware of the transition to using Mailchimp instead.
Hub
Bill and Jess will be tasked with moving internal content from the School of Public Health website and other WVU Health entities to the Hub.
Public Health
The School of Public Health is hiring a Communications Specialist.
