Health web updates meeting
We will keep tomorrow's Health website meeting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. Shawn will add Jess to the meeting in Outlook.
Shawn will also check to see if Wendy is available to attend the meeting.
Addiction
Shawn, Dan, and Matt will be reviewing the addiction website progress this afternoon.
WVU Calendar
The progress for pulling the feeds from the new Localist version of the WVU Calendar into the Health websites is about 60% complete. There are a few fields that are named differently that need corrected.
Events
The School of Nursing and the School of Medicine will be the first websites to use the new events module.
Office of Health Affairs
The Office of Health Affairs group notified Shawn at the end of December that they will be building a new website with a third party vendor.
Directory
Shawn, Dan, Cassie, and Zane discussed potential alternatives to listing more Directory profiles with additional information. Directory profiles will potentially be improved to show more personality both of the individual and of the associated school or organization.
Shawn suggested creating alternative views for Directory profiles that highlight specific areas (possibly using a hash (#) in the URL) and communicators can choose which view to display when adding a Directory macro or listing.
While many editors will be removed from editing websites in Umbraco, the same editors will probably still have access to edit Directory profiles.
Clay's website
On Monday, January 31st, Bill inquired about adding Clay's favorite anecdote and quote near his bio in his website. We will discuss potential improvements to this website in tomorrow's Health web updates meeting.
Tara mentioned that she has a photo of Clay in medical school and that his reading list needs updated.
