Welcome Week

Each school's Welcome Week page is ready to be updated.

Jess inquired about listing links to the school's Welcome Week pages on the WVU Health cover page.

Health Sciences Museum

We will add a page under the WVU Health website with information about the Health Sciences Museum including:

  • General information about the museum
  • Highlighted artifacts with photos and a description
  • Links to resources at the WVU Library
  • Links to other information
  • Is there unveiling information that could be relevant?
  • Are there interactive items?
  • Will this page be placed under the Who We Are page?
  • An area for announcements for special installations

Shawn suggested using a timeline format (Similar to on the WVU's 150th anniversary website) to highlight around 12 items and to further emphasize 2-4 of these items.

Virtual Tour

Tyler is currently working on editing the main Health Sciences Virtual tour video.

Newsroom

Jess asked about how to "group" related stories in current SOLE News, specifically for grouping stories related to addiction.

Tara suggested having a structured media kit type of page that lists addiction related stories. Tags can be used in SOLE News to group these related stories and the stories can be output and sorted by their tag on this page. Tags are added to a story in SOLE News under "Additional Settings" and by typing the name of the new tag. Existing tags will be remembered for future use.

In SOLE Newsroom, topics will play a greater role in grouping related posts or stories.

Centralizing editors

Shawn will provide Tara and Cassie with a write-up of additional reasons for centralizing editors.

Events

Jess and Bill can begin adding events using the events module.
