April 19, 2022 Meeting

Notes

WVU Health home page

Jess is working with Wendy to create content for National Nurses Week (May 6th - May 12th). We will consider reusing the National Dentist's Day/Women's History Month template.

Bill has been looking into working with campaigns in Google Analytics and he will work with Shawn and Dan to potentially set up a campaign to track the home page version for National Nurses Week.

HSTA

The HSTA Shout Outs page is still rendering a 404 page and Dan will look into this issue.

Bill will potentially take over editing the HSTA website, among other Health Sciences level websites.

Bill and Tara inquired about compiling a list of websites that belong under the WVU Health hierarchy with the current list of editors for each so that they can evaluate which websites should be moved into Hub which websites that Bill should take over editing.

Addiction website

Bill is meeting with Brian Persinger this week to discuss capturing photography for the addiction website. Bill has also tagged the relevant stories in SOLE News to display in this website.

We agreed to push the launch deadline for this website to the beginning of May to accommodate everyone's availability.

Chancellor website

Jess inquired about adding the link to the recording of Clay's talk at TEDxWVU. Dan will add this link to the "Protecting Our Communities" area of the front page of the Chancellor website.

Also, Dan will provide a mock up of the video that Tyler provided in Slack behind the hero in the front page.

WVU Calendar

Jess does have access to the WVU Calendar. As the permissions to claim and edit events are still completely open, she should be able to add any Health Sciences related event to the HSC calendar.

Tara inquired about updating the training videos for using the WVU Calendar. Also, Dan assured everyone that the calendar pages in each school's website and Health Sciences related website are now pulling the events from the new WVU Calendar application.
