9/7/2021 Meeting

Notes

Community

While Matt is building the addiction website using the framework of the Health website, similar to how the Coronavirus website was built, we will work together to update the Community page to present the outreach that WVU Health Sciences does across the state including addiction, signature programs, dental clinics, etc. The Your Morgantown Experience content will still exist within this area. All three campuses, Morgantown, Charleston, and Eastern will be represented.

Events

We will use stage 1 of the events module to present Healthcare Simulation Week events. We will not use this module to the fullest extent and the events will be aesthetically structured similar to the Diversity events and look very basic.

Shawn, Wendy, and Dan will meet on Wednesday morning to review adding the Healthcare Simulation Week events.

Newsletters

Tyler inquired about adding a way for audiences to sign up for newsletters that they might not already receive. The list of recipients is updated manually and all submissions would need to go directly through Wendy and the communications group.

This discussion circled back to the fact that that the communications group doesn't have access to update the various audiences and recipients in the listserv.

Hub

Jason will be available at the end of September to help with creating pages for resources under the main sections of the Health Sciences Hub website and with adding sub-site pages and sections.

Bill will work on migrating Health Sciences websites targeted toward internal audiences into the Health Sciences Hub website. We will move forward with creating a space for internal content for the School of Dentistry first as Sunshine has been preparing this content to easily transition it to the Hub. Tara and Wendy will continue to update the Coronavirus resources in Hub.
