Health Careers Opportunity Program
Shawn requested that Wendy work with the Health Careers Opportunity Program (WV HCOP) group to organize their current content to better fit a website format. Wendy and Tara agreed and Tara mentioned that several people who are involved with the WV HCOP group are also involved with Health Sciences & Technology Academy (WV HSTA).
Shawn also made the suggestion to add a section under the Health website as a collection of smaller offices and groups to display their information. This would be similar to a public version of the Health Sciences Hub.
Diversity
We reviewed the Diversity - Our Actions section of the Health website. Wendy will write copy for the summary and lead areas in each action page.
We agreed that the Diversity Week page will remain directly under the Diversity page each year and we will archive the previous year's page under Our Actions.
Since events are starting to be held outside of an action initiative (See Black History Month Student Organized Talk Series and the DEI HSCommunity emails), we will add an events section under diversity where all events will be added. Then, events can be added to an action from this larger pool of events.
Shawn created the "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" and "DEI Internal" categories in News for a place to store the DEI HSCommunity emails to display on the website.
