10/26/2021 Meeting

Notes

Addiction website

Bill is working through the final edits to the addiction website content.

Google Analytics dashboard

Bill is making the adjustments to the Google Analytics dashboard based on the feedback from Shawn and Dan. He is also creating the smaller Google Analytics components using Google Data Studio to display in Cabin.

Creating this Google Analytics dashboard for the School of Medicine will help to fulfill requests from the Graduate Medical Education and Medical Degree program groups.

School of Dentistry

Tara and Sunshine met with the School of Dentistry's dean to discuss adding a marketing assistant position to assist Sunshine.

Coronavirus

The "COVID-19 Stats: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated" YouTube video will be added to the Coronavirus website.

STEPS

Jason added the video to the home page of the STEPS website as an additional announcement among the other announcements on the page.

The STEPS website will transition to use the Health Sciences website branding and framework in late December or early January. None of the content will change. This will unlock new features including the ability to add announcements via the Newsroom application which will improve and condense the way that announcements display on the Home page.

Newsroom

The direction of the application is to be "creation focused" in which each user will be provided with an empty "post" when they log in. Users who manage posts will see additional tools and notifications. Users will have the ability to save drafts of a post as they write it.

Events

Rachel is building the "vanilla version" of the events module templates. Each template will inherit the aesthetics of the website that the events module is added to while maintaining a consistent core layout and structure across websites.

The events module might be a better solution for presenting and managing the Continuing Education web courses.

Health Sciences Museum

While the Health Sciences museum is finished being built, we will start preparing a space for information about the museum under the Morgantown Campus section of the Health website.

We expect to provide information about the museum on the website including the background of the museum, donor information, and how to visit the museum. Tyler will capture photos of the museum to put on the website ahead of the museum opening.

Resources

We will create a space on the Resources page for links to the Campus Mental Health website, the BeWell website, and other wellness and mental health related resources.
